Virginia Drone Pilots – Eberl Claims Service
Join the Eberl team! We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Drone Pilots to support property claims processes by capturing high‑quality aerial imagery and data.

Waynesboro, VA
Primary Job Responsibilities
Perform image data collection using high‑resolution cameras on Android or iOS devices and drones.
Conduct pre‑flight and post‑flight operations, including airspace coordination, equipment assembly/disassembly, and hazard mitigation.
Operate drones safely and in compliance with FAA Part 107 and company policies.
Capture images from multiple angles to ensure accurate analysis and maintain data integrity.
Perform regular quality checks on image quality, sensor accuracy, and data storage.
Collaborate with managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
Interact professionally with insureds, explaining the work being conducted.
Use Eberl platforms for scheduling and reporting, and promptly report incidents to the Operations Manager or Coordinator.
Required Equipment
Backup high‑resolution drone (DJI preferred) that follows all FAA guidelines.
Additional equipment provided upon request to support an 8+ hour daily workload.
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Detail‑oriented mindset with effective communication about delays.
Physical capability to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and lift up to 60 lbs.
Proficiency with technology platforms and dashboards for data analysis.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to travel frequently and drive extended periods.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and around commercial hazards.
Customer‑focused attitude for resolving complaints.
Collaborative and supportive team approach.
Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
Certification Current FAA Part 107 certification required, along with ongoing Eberl and FAA compliance.
