Territory Business Manager Psychiatry – Colorado Springs
Join Alkermes as a Territory Business Manager (TBM) responsible for selling Alkermes psychiatric products in the Colorado Springs territory and supporting promotional efforts. Ideal candidates are proven sales achievers who reside in the territory and possess thorough product, disease-state, and market knowledge.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong understanding of Alkermes products, related disease states, and marketplace competitors.
Utilize approved sales aids, studies, and reprints to communicate effectively with healthcare providers, using the full Alkermes selling model.
Manage territory by identifying and calling on healthcare provider targets with the required frequency, continuously updating and maintaining provider lists.
Use all available resources and programs (samples, promotional speaker programs, etc.) to increase business and communicate regularly with District Business Leader.
Develop business plans as required by the District Business Leader and complete all administrative tasks accurately and timely.
Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses (car, gas, office supplies, telephone, postage, lodging, meals, entertainment).
Collaborate productively with related positions including other representatives, DBL, RMDs, Marketing, Key Accounts, and headquarters personnel.
Abide by Alkermes policies and regulations regarding promotional compliance and sample accountability.
Qualifications
BA/BS required.
Minimum 2+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
Must live within the Colorado Springs geography.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Must be able to secure or demonstrate credentialing required by healthcare providers for physical access.
Preferred: 5+ years sales experience, specialty sales experience, superior organizational and administrative skills, past sales success, strong analytical and influencing skills, and willingness to travel overnight.
Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary ranges from $125,000 to $155,000. The position includes a performance-based sales incentive bonus targeted at $45,000 annually and eligibility to participate in our long‑term incentive program.
