Job Title : Solar Branch Manager at Freedom Forever
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000 DOE
We are seeking a Branch Manager with experience in residential solar to lead operations and drive performance metrics.
Responsibilities
Oversee all Branch Operations and Administrative staff
Plan and coordinate installations of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems
Manage, motivate, and mentor branch personnel involved in the installation and inspection of solar projects in a high volume setting
Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, customer service, and productivity throughout all branch processes
Work closely with the Production Manager, Branch Coordinator, and Director of Operations to provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting
Evaluate and manage the resources and processes required for successful completion of residential and small‑commercial solar projects
Ensure that “Best Practices” are consistently applied throughout the install operations
Estimate materials, equipment, and personnel needed for residential or commercial solar installation projects, and prepare solar installation project proposals
Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, and increase efficiency
Assure the quality of work produced is acceptable to company standards and specifications
Remotely assess potential solar installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements
Assess system performance or functionality at the system, subsystem, and component levels
Remotely monitor subcontractors to ensure conformance to specifications, schedules, and budgets
Provide technical assistance to installers, technicians, or other solar professionals in areas such as solar electric systems, solar thermal systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems
Manage company facilities as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
Must have 3+ years of supervisory experience; previous Solar industry experience is preferred
Ability to work in a high‑volume, growth environment
Skills with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with CRM and ERP systems
Strong communication skills
Comfortable working on projects with deadlines
Organized and capable of making decisions without supervision
Ability to read and interpret job orders, and understand specifications
Have knowledge of materials and processes that relate to the company’s products
Must have a valid driving license and a clean driving record
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Physical Demands & Abilities
Regularly use office equipment and computers for extended periods of time
Comfortable reviewing and entering information into a computer for extended periods of time
Able to move from sitting to standing positions, bend, twist, and use hands and fingers
See details of objects that are less than a few feet away
Can speak clearly, and listen to understand another person
