Lee Health Heart Institute is currently seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist with expertise and training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation to join the new Advanced Heart Failure Center at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida. This will be an integrated cardiology and surgical program that provides high-quality, comprehensive care in all spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic heart failure services.
Qualified Candidates Should Be:
BC/BE by the ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant
Proficient in management of mechanical circulatory support, including de novo implantation of LVAD, Impella and ECMO and post-operative management of heart transplant recipients
More than 5 years post-fellowship experience is preferred but graduating fellows are welcome to apply
Eager to work in a growing, high-volume practice and have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively and work with a large multidisciplinary program.
Optional: performing heart catheterization's, heart biopsies, Cardiomems
Job Description:

Inpatient consultative and outpatient care responsibilities
Primary night call and weekend call coverage 1:5 with minimal general call responsibility
