We are seeking an Architect to lead the evolution of our SaaS platform into a modern, resilient, and AI‑powered architecture. This role will shape our long‑term technology strategy, provide technical leadership across engineering teams, and ensure our platform is scalable, secure, performant, and data‑driven. A key priority will be driving platform transformation by consolidating multiple banking products into a unified, extensible platform with a shared architecture—enabling cross‑product consistency, operational efficiency, and faster innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Product architecture strategy and vision
Prioritized technology roadmap
Solution blueprints and integration plans
Architecture dependency maps, within and external to product
Security, compliance, and scalability frameworks
Define and drive end‑to‑end platform architecture strategy with a focus on scalability, modularity, security, and resilience
Lead the platform consolidation and modernization journey, transitioning current solutions to a unified architecture
Champion architecture excellence using domain‑driven design, event‑driven systems, and well‑architected cloud principles
Design and govern robust, secure, and extensible API ecosystems that support internal teams, external developers, and fintech partners
Define and elevate developer experience standards including sandbox environments, API documentation, and onboarding flows
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to embed AI/ML, analytics, and personalization into platform capabilities
Define and enforce standards for API governance, observability, system design, and security
Evaluate emerging technologies for future‑readiness
Collaborate with InfoSec, SRE, and DevOps to ensure platform reliability, compliance, and operational health
Product Design and Development
Designs and maintains artifacts for product architectures including solution blueprints, dependency maps, design specifications, etc. to meet business objectives and technical requirements
Collaborates with Portfolio leadership and Product Manager to understand business requirements and align technology solutions to strategic business outcomes
Establishes and enforces technical standards, policies, and guidelines to maintain consistency and reliability across the product and teams
Works closely with product teams, including Product Owners, Software Engineers, and Quality Engineers, to understand product backlogs and maintain alignment with architectural goals
Provides technical guidance and leadership to product teams, helping them understand architectural principles, best practices, and design patterns; this may involve mentoring, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions and manages architectural risks and accounts
Product Strategy, Vision, and Planning
Develops automation & CI/CD strategy for the Product and communicates the vision to the Product Manager and Engineering Manager
Provides insights to the Product Manager on DevOps enhancements and product gaps to inform the product roadmap and team backlogs
Works closely with Engineering Managers and teams to validate that proposed technical solutions are aligned with DevOps principles and capabilities
Qualifications
Expertise in SRE and DevOps principles and proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Google Cloud Build)
Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work across the Product with product and technology team members and clearly articulate technical DevOps concepts. Strategic influencer.
Automation‑first mindset who is obsessed with reducing manual tasks and always looking to improve pipelines and deployments through automation
10+ years of experience in software engineering and enterprise architecture
Deep expertise in designing and managing API‑first platforms, developer ecosystems, and partner integrations
Familiarity with banking ecosystem integration standards (e.g., ISO 20022, Open Banking, FDX)
Expertise in cloud‑native technologies (e.g., GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, containers, service mesh)
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, multi‑tenancy, and event‑driven architecture
Hands‑on experience with AI/ML integration into product and platform architecture
Understanding of regulatory, security, and data compliance in financial services
