Position Summary

The Stationary Engineer 1st Class will perform all necessary functions in the operation and preventative maintenance of all heating boilers, cooling chillers, cooling tower, ventilation, and all related equipment, including chemical testing and treatment of chilled water systems and boiler feedwater and steam systems. Full‑time (40 hours per week) rotating shift with weekend work required. Location

Sibley Memorial Hospital, 5255 Loughboro Rd, NW Washington, DC 20016 Education & Experience

High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred or with equivalent training and experience. Minimum of four years training experience operating a high‑level pressure steam plant. High‑pressure experience in a hospital situation preferred. Must be licensed in District of Columbia as a First Class Engineer. Salary Range

Minimum $35.84 per hour – Maximum $59.14 per hour. Salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion.
