The Engineering Sales Director will lead aggressive engineering solutions development with a strong focus on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with key customers. This role requires a self‑driven individual with a deep technical background and an ownership mindset—is someone who takes initiative, drives results, and is accountable for revenue growth through strategic customer engagement and technical solutions. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering degree.

Essential Functions

Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team to drive innovation and company growth.

Develop and implement technical strategies that align manufacturing capabilities with business development goals to generate new revenue.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through consultative technical solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote capabilities and convert qualified leads.

Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product development and go‑to‑market strategies.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development for all team members.

Requirements Educational Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering degree.

Experience

5‑10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment in a Technical Sales or Technical Product Development Leadership role.

Proven experience in senior technical leadership and B2B manufacturing.

Demonstrated success in managing technical customer‑facing teams.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration and customer engagement.

Experience in B2B sales, business development, or customer‑facing technical roles.

Ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through consultative technical selling.

Travel Travel is anticipated based on business needs. Approximately 25‑50% of the time.

Compensation details:

$100,000 – $130,000 yearly salary
