Expected Starting Pay Range : $85,000 - $120,000/yr

Starting compensation rate is determined on qualifications and experience. Highly qualified applicants could start at the higher end of the posted range.

Our company was founded in 2022, and we currently have a 100% remote team of 25+. We have 80+ active clients across industries such as Consulting, Marketing, Healthcare, SaaS, Info Products, Ecommerce, Cybersecurity, B2B Agencies, Home Services, Law Firms, and more. They're typically anywhere from $1MM - $30MM in annual revenue.

Position Overview As a Fractional CFO your mission is to equip our clients with the financial insights they need to grow their business and hit their goals. You’ll own strategic finance for a portfolio of U.S. clients across online, home services, construction, and healthcare industries. You’ll translate clean books and accounting into decisions - providing clients with a fast feedback loop into their financial performance and a clear path forward to get them closer to their goals. Allowing them to play the game of business on offense, not defense.

Home Service or Healthcare Specific Experience is a big bonus!

Strategic operator with strong FP&A chops and a bias for action.

Elite communicator who turns finance into plain-English decisions and recommendations.

Pattern-spotter: you see levers (pricing, mix, capacity, cash cycle) and pull them.

Comfortable leading exec-level conversations and pushing for outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Creating and Delivering CFO Reports Giving our clients quick feedback loops into their financial performance.

Monthly Client Calls Maintaining frequent contact through scheduled calls guarantees personalized service and up-to-date client and team alignment. Proactive communication here is crucial for this role.

Initial KPI setup call with new clients - Craft tailored metrics to clients, making sure ours and their most important considerations are tracked on a monthly ongoing basis.

Forecasting and Budgeting Helping ensure clients stay on track and don't run into any pitfalls.

Documenting Religiously update the project management system to reflect the status of each client’s tasks. Update client internal Slack channels with any relevant information the team should know about. Create SOP's relevant to your role as you tackle new challenges.

Regular Team Check-Ins Report progress and bring questions to the team when they arise. Weekly meetings with the full team to ensure we're on the same page and operations are running smoothly. Also a weekly call with all of the team's Fractional CFO's.

Daily and Weekly Recaps Fill out end of day and end of week forms summarizing your work preformed, upcoming work, roadblocks, and ways we can improve.

Requirements

Accounting, FP&A, or PE Experience

Knowledgeable in QuickBooks Online

Expert in Excel / Google Sheets
