Social Media Manager Summary As our Social Media Manager, you will lead the strategic planning, development, ongoing execution and management for all social media activities on behalf of the Pair of Thieves’ brand. In this role, you will be responsible for evolving our digital footprint, engaging consumers, conversion and ensuring strong integration with and across POT’s marketing campaigns. This position is a healthy mix of strategy, publishing, creativity and community management. Our ideal candidate has experience managing TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, channels while also building strong influencer programs that compliment social media strategies.
Responsibilities
Develop social media strategies and establish KPI’s across each platform
Oversee and manage planning, content calendars, reporting, and optimizations across all social platforms
Drive meaningful fan engagement with the Creative team and other cross-functional teams to create and/or leverage aspirational, on-brand content
Manage relationship with agencies to grow brand awareness through influencer collaborations
Manage budgets and allocation of funds across social channels while closely monitoring and driving return on investment; provide timely and accurate campaign reporting
Design and develop a comprehensive influencer and gifting marketing strategy and establish program KPI’s in partnership with Brand Marketing (PR), ecommerce and Creative Teams
Own the outreach, negotiation, execution, onboarding, and ongoing communication with our influencers / ambassadors
Manage, coach and develop social media team members
Lead giveaways with partner brands to share value with audience and grow brand presence.
Partner with Creative team to draft content creator briefs, develop detailed SOWs + timelines, oversee partnerships to ensure consistency and effective, on-brand storytelling.
Hypothesize, test, and learn (around influencers, demographics, messaging, and creative) to efficiently scale PoT’s influencer marketing efforts
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field required
5+ years of experience in social media/digital communications
1+ years of experience building and executing social media strategy preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and digital communications strategies, including best practices, tools, and measurement
A strong storyteller, able to distill content into bite-sized social media captions and images that resonate on social media
Basic design skills (Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator); exceptional writing skills to deliver on a brand's voice on social
Proven ability to use analytics tools that track/measure success of campaigns and efforts
An understanding of user behavior and demographics per unique social media platform
Eagerness to engage and build communities with the ability to spot trends on the fly and leverage insights to draw sound recommendations
Strong organizational skills and can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with keen ability to re-prioritize on a consistent basis
Passion for fashion, sports, pop culture, social media, PR, and online/tech trends
Strong planning, project execution, and analytical competencies
Able to work weekends, holidays and evenings
