The Embassy Suites Los Angeles International Airport South is currently hiring an experienced Laundry Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing the laundry operations to ensure a constant supply of high‑quality clean linens for the hotel and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the laundry department.
What will I be doing?
Managing the laundry operations — overseeing the sorting, washing, drying, and folding of linen, terry and other textile items; responding to guest requests and providing assistance.
Performing all stages of linen processing — collecting, transporting, loading and unloading, folding, storing and delivering.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization — ensuring the laundry area is clean, organized, and safe.
Equipment maintenance — ensuring all laundry equipment is in good working order and properly functioning.
Inventory management — keeping track of supplies and equipment, including detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning chemicals.
Team management, training and development — leading and guiding the laundry team to ensure efficient operations; providing training and support to new employees and team members.
Pay Range — The starting wage for this role is $23.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
