Job Summary As a Director of Corporate Communications, you will lead the development and execution of communications strategies that empower BD’s global commercial organization, driving engagement and supporting revenue growth. You will serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and a member of BD’s Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as strategic advisor to the CRO, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across internal channels to drive alignment and inspire action.
Lead development and execution of internal communications plans to engage associates and clarify commercial priorities and initiatives.
Implement and oversee internal communications vehicles, crafting innovative content strategies that energize the sales force.
Support creation of customer‑facing content aligned with BD’s commercial narrative.
Liaise between Revenue Office leadership and Corporate Communications.
Monitor and measure the impact of communication initiatives, adjusting approaches based on metrics.
Design creative approaches to integrate modern communications styles into the corporate setting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
Minimum 12 years relevant corporate communications experience, including internal/external roles for a publicly traded healthcare or regulated company.
Proven ability to develop and execute internal communications strategies and deliver measurable outcomes across multiple channels.
Strong executive presence with a track record of influencing senior leadership and managing cross‑functional programs.
Exceptional writing, presentation, and storytelling skills with discretion for sensitive information.
Willingness to challenge and propose alternative options.
