Are you a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer ready to lead complex aerospace projects and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor?
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their precision manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects, optimize processes, mentor machinists, and solve challenges directly on the production floor.

Base Pay Range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering guidance and mentorship to machinists and production teams.
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges directly on the shop floor.
Own manufacturing projects from concept through development, implementation, and production.
Lead the creation of work instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, quality, maintenance, and design engineering.
Partner with Quality Assurance to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve technical issues and provide updates.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, preferably in aerospace.
Proven ability to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a willingness to work directly on the shop floor.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
Leadership and mentoring experience with shop floor personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
Knowledge of machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly processes.
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
