We are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a high performing Forward Deployed Engineering team delivering real world AI systems across finance, healthtech, government, and enterprise. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who cares about customer impact, rapid delivery and shipping production‑grade systems at scale. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product and customer delivery. You will lead a team of FDEs, drive execution on complex deployments and ensure customers receive systems that solve real problems. Base pay range
$250,000 / yr – $300,000 / yr Location
San Francisco, CA - onsite Responsibilities
Lead and scale a team of Forward Deployed Engineers across multiple customer deployments Own end‑to‑end delivery from architecture to production shipping Work directly with customers to deeply understand problems and define scalable technical solutions Translate research and model capabilities into production‑ready applications Drive engineering execution across Python, TypeScript, cloud and modern AI infrastructure Hire, coach and grow senior engineers while shaping team culture and operating principles Partner cross‑functionally with product and core engineering to build high impact systems Qualifications
Strong hands‑on software engineering background in Python, TypeScript or similar Experience managing engineering teams and owning delivery for complex technical projects System design depth across cloud, data and AI infrastructure Proven experience shipping ML, AI or enterprise systems into production environments Background in Forward Deployed Engineering, solutions engineering or customer‑facing technical roles High ownership, customer‑centric mindset and comfort operating in fast‑moving environments
