Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of professional salespeople to achieve and exceed company goals.
Contribute to achieving growth and surpassing sales targets through teamwork.
Develop and execute a strategic business plan aimed at expanding the customer base and ensuring a strong market presence.
Own personal recruiting, objectives setting, and performance monitoring without direct supervisory responsibilities over sales representatives.
Build strong, enduring relationships by understanding the needs of the sales team.
Identify opportunities for growth within the existing customer base and explore avenues for new business.
Motivate oneself, collaborate on setting and achieving personal sales goals, and resolve conflicts on an individual level.
Analyze personal sales numbers to uncover opportunities for growth.
Address concerns of dissatisfied customers independently and resolve issues.
Act as an effective listener and speaker to assist customers and collaborate with other team members.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with other department leads.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales in a highly competitive market, with a focus on wholesale auto parts, particularly the aftermarket industry.
Experience in prospecting new business and closing sales, with a track record of engaging installers, fleets, municipalities, and car dealerships.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; formal education in sales or a technical-related area highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to act independently with minimal daily direction.
Outgoing, assertive personality with initiative, proactivity, and a positive “can‑do” attitude.
Results‑focused, productive, and committed to personal and professional growth.
Proficient in Google Applications and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
General automotive knowledge is helpful.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
