About the Opportunity
Join a multidisciplinary team on a 20-bed medical-psychiatry (med-psych) inpatient unit
This position offers the unique opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients with complex medical and behavioral health needs in a collaborative hospital setting
Full-time inpatient role with shared call and teaching responsibilities
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients admitted to the med-psych unit
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and other relevant therapies
Provide crisis intervention and ensure patient safety through appropriate risk assessment and management
Candidates should have an interest in teaching, quality improvement, and program development
Earnings commensurate with experience and a robust benefits package
