Managing Director, Enterprise Strategy & Execution (Outsourcing Advisory Services) Be among the first 25 applicants: West Monroe is looking for a Managing Director/Partner to lead our Operations Excellence (OpEx) practice and drive the Enterprise Strategy & Execution (ES&E) offerings. The role involves structuring, leading, and growing the OpEx practice while owning key client accounts and delivering outsourcing advisory services, including assessments, RFx development, vendor negotiations, transition, and service delivery optimization.

Client Delivery

Support and lead teams serving clients across industries while demonstrating executive presence with high‑level client counterparts.

Manage and influence multidisciplinary teams to translate client business objectives into IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing solutions.

Provide quality assurance and conduct frequent touch‑bases with client executives to ensure value is realized and understood from engagements.

Understand and support the underlying business processes and technologies within an organization to recommend long‑term scalability, cost reduction, and process improvement.

Ensure proper management of project economics, including budgets, invoicing, and the collection process.

Practice Development

Collaborate with national and local leadership to develop and deliver multidisciplinary, outsourcing advisory offerings.

Develop strategy, approach, staffing, skill development, methodology, and new account development.

Align local office culture and define the strategic direction of the ES&E team, leading entrepreneurial activities to expand offerings.

Coach and manage consultants and participate in performance management.

Participate actively in recruiting and retaining top quality talent.

Business Development

Drive opportunity origination at existing clients, qualify leads, and collaborate on pursuits for new work.

Hunt new strategic clients using relationships and proven business development skills.

Collaborate with industry and multidisciplinary teams to identify sales opportunities.

Lead business development meetings with prospective and existing clients aligned to core West Monroe industries.

Translate client needs into concrete engagements and proposals highlighting quantifiable value creation.

Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospects.

Attend networking events and build professional and affiliate networks in the local community.

Qualifications

13+ years progressive experience leading outsourcing advisory engagements in a client‑facing consulting environment.

10+ years leading delivery teams and advising on outsourcing strategies and vendor relationships, including IT and business process outsourcing.

Strong business development skills and active professional network in the local market.

Experience farming new business from existing clients and managing client relationships.

Strong project‑management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue, risk, change management, and strategic planning.

Proven leadership in building collaborative relationships, fostering productive teams, and coaching staff with timely feedback.

Success within one or more of West Monroe’s core industries (Consumer & Industrial Products, Healthcare, Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Utilities, Insurance, Banking, Private Equity).

Ability to travel up to 50% as required.

Compensation and Benefits National salary range: $280,000—$308,000 USD. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 401(k) plan, employee stock ownership program, annual bonuses, unlimited flexible time off, ten paid holidays, and ten weeks of paid parental leave.
