Hotel General Manager
to lead a
recently renovated, nationally branded select-service hotel
located in a market with
continued economic growth and forecasted increases in lodging demand . This role is ideal for a
business-focused hospitality leader
with strong organizational capabilities, financial acumen, and proven labor management skills. The General Manager will be responsible for driving hotel performance while delivering exceptional guest and associate experiences. This is a

Hotel Operations & Leadership
Lead and manage all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration Coach, mentor, and develop department heads and hotel associates Serve as the
Brand Champion , ensuring full compliance with franchise standards Maintain a strong on-property presence through daily property walks and inspections Ensure adherence to company SOPs, brand requirements, and regulatory standards Actively build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community leaders, tourism partners, and hospitality organizations to drive visibility and demand. Financial Management & Labor Control
Read, analyze, and actively manage hotel budgets, forecasts, and financial statements Oversee labor scheduling, productivity standards, and daily labor controls Review and manage P&L statements, general ledgers, accruals, and journal entries Control operating expenses while maximizing profitability across all departments Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash handling, and bank deposits Revenue, Sales & Market Strategy
Drive revenue growth through disciplined execution of sales, marketing, and revenue management strategies Support and implement the hotel’s annual marketing and sales plan Monitor competitive set performance, market conditions, and industry trends Partner with revenue management to optimize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR Maintain strong relationships with brand representatives and community partners Guest Experience & Asset Management
Champion guest satisfaction and service recovery efforts Monitor guest feedback and brand scores; implement corrective action plans Ensure preventative maintenance programs protect and enhance the hotel asset Maintain quality standards across guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas People Management & Culture
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain high-performing hotel associates Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and recognition Ensure associates are trained on emergency, safety, and security procedures Promote a positive, accountable, and performance-driven hotel culture Qualifications – Hotel General Manager
Minimum
3 years of hotel management experience , including
at least 1 year as a General Manager Select-service hotel experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of hotel operations, financial management, and labor controls Proven ability to analyze reports, budgets, and operational metrics Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with PMS, POS, and hotel reporting systems Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as business needs require Willingness to sign company non-disclosure and non-compete agreements Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $72,000 – $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience) Quarterly Bonus Plan
