Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect Location: Wilmington, DE

Overview We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect with a strong background in designing scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience modernizing monolithic systems into microservices and working in complex banking or payment environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end architecture for large‑scale enterprise solutions

Drive monolith‑to‑microservices transformation (Strangler Fig Pattern)

Design event‑driven and cloud‑native architectures

Implement microservices patterns (CQRS, Saga, API Gateway, Circuit Breaker, etc.)

Ensure architectural governance, security, and performance standards

Handle distributed transactions and consistency models (ACID vs BASE)

Collaborate with senior stakeholders and lead architectural decision‑making

Required Skills

10+ years in Enterprise / Solution Architecture

Strong experience with microservices and distributed systems

Hands‑on expertise in event‑driven architecture

Deep understanding of ACID vs BASE principles

Mandatory experience in Banking or Payment systems

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have

Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)

Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps tools

Domain‑Driven Design (DDD)
