About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and customer‑focused individual to join our IT team as a Junior Help Desk Technician. This entry‑level opportunity is designed for someone looking to launch a career in IT support. You will serve as the first point of contact for internal users, providing basic technical assistance, managing user accounts, and escalating more complex issues to senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT‑related issues via email, phone, and ticketing systems.
Provide basic technical support to resolve common hardware, software, and user‑related issues.
Troubleshoot user connectivity problems.
Triage complex or unresolved issues and escalated them to Tier 2 support or specialized IT teams, ensuring clear and detailed documentation.
Support and maintain A/V and collaboration systems, including video‑conferencing setups.
Provide technical support for on‑site and virtual meetings and presentations.
Fulfill other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications Required
Equivalent technical education, certifications, or relevant IT support experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and patient demeanor.
1‑2 years of experience in a technology environment providing customer support.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Familiarity with common ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
Experience with Windows OS, macOS, PC and Apple hardware (including iOS and Android devices).
Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
