Location: Canonsburg, PA or Houston, TX.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
The Project Director is a full‑time exempt employee.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic, technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership to the team for successful implementation of projects.
Implement proper project control to monitor performance.
Create and maintain a project budget to ensure execution within budget.
Develop and maintain a project schedule to ensure on‑time delivery.
Manage change with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to mitigate budget or schedule risk.
Review contracts and consolidate flow‑down terms and conditions for sub‑contracts.
Develop and maintain a risk register for the project.
Mitigate project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Provide regular reporting on project performance externally and internally.
Ensure compliance with EHS regulations at project sites.
Attend customer meetings as required.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Travel internationally and domestically as required.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Project management certification preferred.
Ten (10) or more years of experience in a leadership position managing more than one project.
Skill Requirements
Effective communication with customers and a positive, organized attitude.
Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.
Apply common sense to follow instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency with MS Office and internet.
Experience as a Construction Manager at a site is an added advantage.
Technical proficiency with project‑management software.
