Day in the Life
Seasoned Software Engineer with a strong application development background.
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well‑scoped product features.
Advocate for and practice test‑driven development (TDD) to ensure high‑quality, reliable software.
Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Who You Are
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails (preferred), or Golang, Node.js, or Python, with experience developing high‑performance and high‑availability backend systems.
Experience with Next.js or other front‑end technologies is nice to have.
Strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns.
Experience building scalable systems and driving test‑driven CI/CD practices.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
Knowledge of caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience designing distributed systems.
Continuous learning of the latest technological trends.
Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $120,000–$180,000 USD. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. Compensation is based on skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
