We are seeking a knowledgeable and relationship‑driven Tax Manager to join a growing, client‑focused team. This role is well suited for a tax professional who enjoys partnering closely with clients, providing strategic tax guidance, and leading tax engagements from planning through compliance.
As a Tax Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor, working collaboratively with internal teams to align tax strategies with clients’ personal and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary tax contact for clients, building long‑term, trusted relationships
Participate in client meetings to present and implement tax planning strategies
Collaborate with advisory and internal teams to integrate tax planning into broader financial strategies
Support onboarding and transition of new clients
Lead and oversee tax engagements, including compliance and planning
Review and sign federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates
Manage tax projections, planning analyses, and audit support
Mentor, coach, and develop team members through ongoing feedback
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
CPA, JD, or EA required; Master’s in Taxation or JD preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in individual, partnership, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax compliance
Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax law, regulations, and authoritative guidance
Experience with tax preparation, research, and planning software; ability to adapt quickly to new systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools
Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based environment
Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced setting
