Selby Jennings is partnering with a boutique Investment Bank/Private Equity firm headquartered in Las Vegas, specializing in middle‑market transactions with a strong focus on real estate, gaming, and hospitality sectors. They offer a unique platform providing hands‑on exposure to capital markets, M&A, and private equity through their affiliated fund.
They are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions and gain significant client exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Support senior bankers in executing M&A and capital markets transactions.
Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation analyses, and prepare client presentations.
Conduct industry and company research to support deal origination and execution.
Participate in due diligence and coordinate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
Assist in managing relationships with investors and strategic partners.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in investment banking, commercial banking, or real estate lending (strong Analysts considered).
Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Ties to Las Vegas (family, partner, prior residency, etc.) or strong affinity for the region.
Interest in gaming, real estate, and middle‑market transactions.
