What to Expect
This person must be able to build upon previous successes and take our Remanufacturing team to the next level. They must be capable of collaborating with cross‑functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect quality, remanufacturing efficiency, workstation ergonomics, equipment maintenance, etc. The successful candidate will also have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and management skills, demonstrating the ability to be an innovator and change agent.
What You'll Do
Supervise hourly remanufacturing technicians in a hands‑on role
Day to day support of troubleshooting and repair difficulties
Defining daily tasks and setting directions for the team
Assist development of work instruction alongside the Remanufacturing Engineering team
Develop & maintain proper documentation of workforce Versatility Matrix
Manage workforce development, reviews and discipline in compliance with Tesla Policy
Collaboration with the Remanufacturing Process Engineers to lead and support the training and development of technicians
What You'll Bring
Minimum 5 years of supervisory and leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and develop high‑performing technical teams in a fast‑paced, manufacturing environment
At least 5 years of hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems
Proficiency in robotic and controls programming
Proven project management experience, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute complex technical projects
Adaptable and open‑minded approach, with a high level of flexibility and a positive, solutions‑focused attitude
Strong people management and team‑building skills, including performance management, coaching, conflict resolution, and fostering a collaborative team culture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Expected Compensation $80,000 - $120,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
