Field Service Engineer – Boston, MA
Our Boston area client is adding to their staff a highly-motivated Field Service Engineer who wants to make an impact in the healthcare industry with groundbreaking technology. This is for the person who has an aptitude for technology, exceptional communication and training skills who is excited for the opportunity to support the introduction of an innovative, lifesaving technology in the field of transfusion medicine.
Responsibilities
Works with partners to develop facilities for installation of our system.
Installs complex medical capital equipment.
Troubleshoots devices in the field, maintains documentation, and provides surface technical briefings for system operators and engineers.
Provides training to other Field personnel.
Professionally interacts and maintains effective and open communication with all personnel, vendors/manufacturers and customers.
Requirements
BS/AS degree in a technical or workforce development field.
Experience in a maintenance position, preferably as a field technician.
Experience in technical training or technical writing.
Proficiency with MS Office Suites (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
Competency with hand tools and construction equipment.
Working knowledge of drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or SolidWorks Suite).
Working knowledge of command line interface software (e.g., Linux).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Task oriented with strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
