Snr. Technical Program Manager, Device OS Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. Key job responsibilities

As a Technical Program Manager you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative software solutions that will form a core part of Amazon Devices.

You will work a cross-functional engineering team driving programs from design to launch.

You will be expected to have strong technical deep dive skills especially in building scalable distributed systems using AWS, excellent project management skills, great communication skills and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.

A day in the life

Work with key stakeholders in product management & partner engineering teams to define strategy and requirements

Drive development of a critical new program from concept through launch

Work with partner teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch time-lines

Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

5+ years of technical product or program management experience

3+ years of software development experience

5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
