First-Line Supervisors of Entertainment and Recreation Service

Professionals to contribute to an hourly, temporary AI research project—but there’s no AI experience needed. In this program, you’ll leverage your professional experience to evaluate what AI models produce in your field, assess content related to your field of work, and deliver clear, structured feedback that strengthens the model’s understanding of your workplace tasks and language. The Handshake AI opportunity runs year-round, with project opportunities opening periodically across different areas of expertise.

Details

The position is remote and asynchronous; work independently from wherever you are.

The hours are flexible, with no minimum commitment, but most average 5-20 hrs

The work includes developing prompts for AI models that reflect your field, and then evaluating responses.

You’ll learn new skills and contribute to how AI is used in your field

Your placement into a project will be dependent on project availability—if you apply now and can’t work on this project, more will be available soon.

Qualifications

You have at least 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following types of work.

The examples below reflect the types of real-world responsibilities that you might have had in your role that will give you the context needed to evaluate and train high-quality AI models

Analyze and record personnel or operational data and prepare related activity reports

Apply customer feedback to improve service quality and operational effectiveness

Assign work schedules based on operational requirements to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery

Collaborate with staff to plan and develop programs, events, and activity schedules

Direct and coordinate the activities of entertainment and recreation workers

Provide customers with information about events, programs, and activities

Communicate participant interests or special needs to staff to ensure appropriate service delivery

Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards

Meet with managers and supervisors to stay informed of operational changes affecting staff or services

Observe and evaluate employee appearance and performance to ensure service quality and compliance with standards

Participate in continuing education to stay current on industry trends and best practices

Plan, direct, and supervise recreational and entertainment activities such as sports, aquatics, games, or performing arts

Support staff in performing complex or challenging duties

Recruit, interview, and hire staff members

Requisition supplies and equipment necessary to support recreational and entertainment activities

Resolve customer complaints related to service delivery or staff performance

Serve as a liaison between management and activity leaders

Take disciplinary action to address performance or conduct issues

Train staff on operational procedures, job functions, and organizational policies.

You’re able to participate in asynchronous work in partnership with leading AI labs.
