The Community You Will Join: Join Airbnb's Treasury team as Treasury Operations Manager, focusing the operations for our payments entities in the US. This team is responsible for ensuring the cash of Airbnb’s customers are managed effectively, efficiently, and economically so that funds are consistently in the right place at the right time.

The Difference You Will Make: The Global Treasury team seeks a highly qualified Treasury Operations Manager to support our Treasury function and Payments strategy at Airbnb. This role's primary focus will be managing cash operations specifically for our Payments entities. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Global Treasury and must possess solid corporate and payment entity treasury experience. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced, and high-growth environment.

A Typical Day:

Manage US banking operations for Airbnb Payments entities; ensure cash management is performed in accordance with the regulations regionally

Optimize liquidity across bank accounts, wallets, and third party processors to support platform needs while minimizing idle cash

Partner heavily with cross-functional teams in Finance, Product, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering to build efficient banking infrastructures for our growing payments platform

Optimize existing short-term forecasting model for efficient funding of payment processors

Act as a local lead on Payments Product related projects

Provide leadership dashboards, analytics, and key performance indicators related to treasury operations for payment entities

Maintain strong relationships with global banking partners and payment processing providers

Implement remedial changes to tighten and enhance controls and mitigate risk; refine and document Treasury processes and procedures

Assist with global cash forecasting and management of intercompany relationships and settlements

Foster innovation in treasury operations by adopting emerging tools and technologies; collaborate with technology teams to design and implement efficient workflows

Mentor, and lead a high-performing team with a focus on accountability, scalability, and innovation

Your Expertise:

8+ years of progressive corporate treasury experience in a high-growth startup or multinational environment.

Strong preference for understanding merchant payment processors and regulatory environments.

Experience with large-scale Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba, GTreasury, Reval).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data analysis and strategic recommendations.

Excellent communication, multitasking, and high attention to detail.

Passion for Airbnb and industry knowledge.
