Requirements Full‑time BC/BE experienced neurosurgeon or graduating resident or fellow. The candidate must have excellent clinical and technical skills with experience in the latest neurosurgical techniques. Recruitment focus is operative general neurosurgery, with support for subspecialty interests such as functional neurosurgery (Gamma Knife, deep brain stimulation, vagus nerve stimulation).
Reason for Recruitment Active recruitment is launched to support growth in the neurosurgical service line. Lengthening wait times, increased demand for functional neurosurgery, and the need for additional coverage are key drivers for adding a neurosurgeon to the department.
Practice Details The broad‑based neurosurgical practice includes spine, cranial, and peripheral nerve surgery. A full range of state‑of‑the‑art equipment is available, including neuro‑navigation and stereotactic radiosurgery. Functional neurosurgery opportunities are available through Gamma Knife surgery, deep brain stimulation, and vagus nerve stimulation.
