developer productivity, DORA metrics, and data‑driven engineering practices . Key Leadership Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment & Vision
Collaborate on business objectives and convert them into actionable engineering strategies and roadmaps for your organization.
Partner with leadership and other functions to define technology direction and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
Team Leadership & Development
Build and nurture high‑performing engineering teams through mentorship, coaching, and career development.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Agile Delivery Excellence
Champion Agile principles to ensure predictable, iterative delivery and rapid response to changing priorities.
Drive cross‑functional collaboration with Product Owners, Product Management, and multiple scrum teams.
Technology & Productivity Leadership
Implement modern development practices, including
CI/CD pipelines ,
Git workflows , and automated testing.
Subject matter expertise in
developer productivity initiatives
using
DORA metrics
(Deployment Frequency, Lead Time, MTTR, Change Failure Rate, and more).
Oversee the delivery of
data pipelines and ETL processes
to support integrating data between systems.
People Management
Demonstrated experience leading software development teams that connect strong performance, business results, and empathetic leadership. Data‑Driven Engineering
Promote engineering excellence through
metrics‑driven decision‑making
and continuous improvement.
Experience mapping and migrating data between disparate software engineering systems owned by teams throughout Siemens.
Strategic Impact Metrics
Business Alignment:
Deliver engineering initiatives that directly support organizational OKRs and strategic priorities.
Developer Productivity:
Grow client adoption of our developer productivity platform and even help our own teams understand and gain value from developer productivity metrics/tools.
Operational Excellence:
Achieve measurable improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, and defect reduction.
Data Pipeline Reliability:
Ensure data pipelines are effective, efficient, and promoting self‑service models for critical ETL workflows and pipelines.
Talent Development:
Maintain high team engagement and retention rates through proactive leadership and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Proven experience leading engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Strong background in modern software practices/systems,
JIRA, Git‑based systems, CI/CD, SonarQube, PagerDuty, DataDog, AI code assistance tools/agents,
and more.
Knowledge of DORA, SPACE, and general industry research on developer productivity.
Hands‑on experience with
data pipelines ,
ETL frameworks , and performance optimization.
Demonstrated ability to align technical initiatives with business strategy and communicate effectively at all levels.
