Associate Director of Sales Join us as our
Associate Director of Sales
in the Northeast, where you’ll lead a high-performing Sales Team while owning your own book of business. This is a remote position, but success requires being active in-market—nurturing key vendor and venue partnerships, engaging with clients, and strengthening local relationships.
Remote Eligibility While remote, you must live in one of the following cities:
Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, or Chicago.
About the Job As an Associate Director of Sales at Access, you will set the strategic direction for a division of the Sales Team and ensure key objectives and revenue goals are met across the Northeast territory. You’ll lead, coach, develop, and inspire your team while also contributing directly to revenue through your own selling efforts.
What You'll Be Doing
Achieve sales metrics through thoughtful and strategic leadership
Develop and train on effective sales strategies
Maintain and build strategic partnerships with key customers, including hotel partners
Lead in hiring, training and development a high-performing sales team
Liaison with all department leaders
Conduct annual and bi-annual reviews of all Sales department team members and give recommendations for promoting and discipline
Educate/motivate team members to hit key company and individual sales performance indicators
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting on a quarterly/annual basis
Define and refine ongoing sales training for new and tenured team members
Engage with clients when appropriate during pre-sale, development and execution stages in order to increase overall win rate and percentage of repeat business
Uphold the Access Values (Imagine First, Demand Integrity, Embody Excellence, Always Collaborate, Service Obsession)
Work with the Associate Managing Director to create synergy among all departments

6+ years of proven sales success in a DMC or related industry (hospitality, events, tourism)
Salesforce power‑user with the ability to manage pipelines and build custom reports
Strong destination knowledge and established local relationships
Proven negotiation and relationship‑building skills
2+ years of experience leading high‑performing sales teams and achieving revenue targets
Solution‑oriented and proactive mindset
Customer service obsession and passion for hospitality/events
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
