Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) PSLD is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.

As a member of the Grimbergen Planning Team, you will play a central role in safeguarding the availability and efficient management of all indirect materials across our Grimbergen Distribution Center and our contract packager, A‑Pack. You will be entrusted with full ownership of daily material flows, stock accuracy, supplier interactions, and the coordination between internal teams and external partners. Your coordination helps ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and packaging activities. This position offers a dynamic environment where you collaborate closely with operations, procurement, finance, logistics, and A‑Pack teams—ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, structure, and problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support for a wide range of ad hoc operational requests and contribute actively to cross‑functional improvement initiatives.

Engage with suppliers to address and resolve performance issues, conduct regular KPI reviews, and ensure service levels, delivery accuracy, and quality standards are consistently met.

Place, track, and manage orders for all indirect materials—including pallets, cartons, labels, and other operational consumables—ensuring availability and timely replenishment across sites.

Maintain accurate and up to date wood stock levels for both Grimbergen and A‑Pack.

Ensure full compliance with ISPM‑15 requirements, maintain all associated documentation, and provide support to ensure readiness for internal and external audits.

Monitor monthly indirect material spending and support budget follow‑up activities.

Align incoming deliveries with operational forecasts and production needs. Manage the related financial follow‑up to ensure correct and timely processing.

Collaborate closely with procurement and operations teams during monthly coordination meetings, ensuring transparency on performance, open issues, and upcoming needs.

Drive continuous improvement by contributing to the optimization of ordering processes, material flow efficiency, and stock management practices, while also supporting packaging‑related and cost‑saving initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain or operations.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

High attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, focused manner.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office.

Strong command of Dutch and English.

A proactive can‑do attitude and willingness to take responsibility.

A lean mindset, with a drive to simplify, improve and standardize processes.
