Based out of our South Jordan, Utah office we are looking to hire a Vice President, Deal Lead who is responsible for planning and executing transactions for our Private Company Liquidity Desk. This role will be critical in driving client and business outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with multiple teams across Sales, Technology, Relationship Managers and Product to facilitate the best possible client experience for our customers within the private markets.
Responsibilities
Directly lead the deal planning and execution for private company liquidity events
Oversee assigned deal team support staff to execute private company transactions
Manage communication with senior decision makers at client companies and law firms
Provide expertise on equity stock plan awards, configurations, and reporting
Conduct demos using Shareworks to demonstrate platform capabilities and UX
Act as a Sr. project manager overseeing deal requirements, timelines, and reporting
Successfully deliver client-based liquidity solutions to enhance overall client relationship
Partner with product and software development to enhance liquidity product offerings
Identify automation opportunities to drive scale and reduce risk for liquidity business
Proactively identify operational issues and drive business solutions
Provide training and mentorship to support staff within assigned deal team
Qualifications
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) level 3 certification is highly recommended
Bachelor’s degree
6+ years experience in capital markets, banking, or financial services
Ability to project manage complex events
Ability to work through ambiguity and drive clarity for your team and stakeholders
Ability interpret legal documentation, equity plan documents, and tax guidance
Strong analytical background, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities
