Investment Associate, Strategic Deployment - West Region

As an Investment & Development Associate on our Higher and Better Use team, you will provide analytical and project management support to advance strategic deployment initiatives across the West region. In this role, you will help translate strategic direction into actionable outcomes—driving the progress of acquisitions, entitlements, and development opportunities within the strategic capital portfolio.**Key Responsibilities** Work with local Investment Officer to partner with Market Officers and Leasing teams to drive deal flow by developing capital deployment opportunities. 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry, with a focus on development, finance, or project management, particularly within the mixed-use or industrial sectors.Strong knowledge of financial and real estate concepts, such as net present values, internal rates of return, and cap rates, as well as the ability to create and modify cash flow models using Argus and Microsoft Excel.Experience in analyzing, interpreting, and creating real estate and construction documents, including but not limited to LOIs, RFPs, property offering memorandums, market reports, and contracts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to effectively support cross-functional teams and represent initiatives to external stakeholders. Ability to travel up to 25% domestically. Familiarity with enterprise software platforms such as Yardi, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, and real estate research databases. and work experience in the Bay AreaHiring Salary Range of: $122,000 - $140,000.
