Job Summary

As a Customer Service / Retail Cashier, you'll be the welcoming face of our store. You'll assist shoppers with purchases, manage transactions efficiently, restock products, and help keep our store organized and inviting. You'll also have the opportunity to demonstrate your creativity through basic beading, sewing, and crafting demos to inspire our customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and deliver outstanding service.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, balance registers, and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide knowledgeable product recommendations.
• Conduct product demos and assist with merchandising displays.
• Restock and organize shelves to maintain an attractive, easy-to-shop sales floor.
• Support inventory management through stock counts and audits.
• Demonstrate excellent phone and in-person communication skills.
• Promote store specials, promotions, and new arrivals.
• Assist in training new employees when needed.
• Use basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Sheets) for daily operational tasks.
• Showcase creativity and product knowledge of basic beading, sewing, and crafting activities.
• Follow all store policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus.
• Comfortable using POS systems and performing basic retail math.
• Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused attitude.
• Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.
• Basic computer skills required (Word, Excel, Google Sheets).
• Basic skills in beading, sewing, or crafting required.
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
• Bilingual abilities highly valued.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the store.
