Preceptor programs for new nurses to help with transition into Women's Center and opportunities for learning/professional development such as charge nurse, preceptor, and clinical ladder program. Flexibility in schedule that allows for continuing education or balance between work and personal life. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
- Ability to float to various clinical areas where qualified and competent.

- At least one year of previous experience in Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Post Partum or GYN Dept strongly preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 6 months of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire.
