- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
- Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies for access control, including the use of electronic systems or manual logs as appropriate for the environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations involving access control in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary according to established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related concerns.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and industrial staff to maintain awareness of operational schedules, shift changes, and high-traffic periods to support access control measures.
- Assist Allied Universal management and site leadership with incident reporting, documentation, and emergency response activities as needed.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
