As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence will support a secure environment for all personnel while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. - Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for individuals entering or exiting the premises.
- Assist with visitor management processes, including registration and escorting when required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including exterior and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the location.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting staff, contractors, and visitors with access-related needs.
- Enforce site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
- Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or breaches of access control protocols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding occupants and coordinating with first responders.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
