We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, a role that requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership in driving manufacturing excellence.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to influence manufacturing processes at a high level, leading initiatives from concept through production, and ensuring the seamless transition of innovative products into full-scale manufacturing.**LOCATION: Hauppauge, NY****SALARY RANGE: $94,700 - $110,000/year***Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in NY. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.***WE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE**Paid Time Off **I** 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing **I** Health and Wellness Benefits **I** Learning and Development Opportunities **I** Referral Program **I** Competitive Pay **I** Recognition **I** **I** \***YOUR CHALLENGE:*** Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing methods, process flows, and operational sequences to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost.* Design and oversee the creation of tools, fixtures, and assembly processes to support complex production requirements.* Collaborate closely with design engineering to review product designs, ensure manufacturability, and drive smooth product launches.* Perform detailed manufacturing cost analyses, establish labor standards, and recommend process and tooling improvements.* Develop, maintain, and standardize manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures, and documentation.* Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing engineering, production, procurement, quality, and inspection.* Lead initiatives in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and labor efficiency, using data-driven analysis.* Champion 5S principles, continuous improvement, and EHS compliance throughout the manufacturing environment.**WHAT YOU BRING*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.* Extensive experience reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and specifications.* Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and other manufacturing design software.* Deep understanding of mechanical and electronic assembly principles.* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.* Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, high-performance environment.***Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):**** Expertise in statistical analysis and applied mathematics (probability, geometry, trigonometry).* Familiarity with manufacturing standards, process documentation, and ERP systems.* Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.**WHO WE ARE**:\*Please note, benefits are country specific and may vary from location to location.#LI-YH1*No unsolicited agency submittals please.
