Job Description Sales Financial Analyst Minimum 2+ years experience in business/operational support Our client, a large distribution company in the Metro Detroit area, is seeking a Sales Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience coordinating bids/contracts, pricing, and cross-functional operations with Supply, Billing, and Sales partners. RESPONSIBILITIES of the Sales Financial Analyst
- Support bid cycles (commercial airlines, cargo/freight, military), including pre-tender prep, RFP document handling, and award summary creation.
- Draft initial contracts; coordinate implementation with Supply, Billing, Pricing, and Operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and audit commercial supply point data (NACS) and consortium/thruput fees.
- Build/update pricing formulas and assist with commercial fuel release requests as needed.
- Produce reports/dashboards; track deadlines and deliverables across multiple concurrent opportunities.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance data quality, speed, and stakeholder communication.
- Work closely with business unit leaders and Area Sales Managers in a growing division.
- Exposure to complex contracts, pricing structures, and large-scale RFPs.
- Cross-functional visibility and collaboration across Supply, Billing, Operations, and Sales.
- Room for growth within a dynamic, niche industry.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Aviation, IT, or related field.
- 2-4 years of business/operations/analytical support experience (aviation exposure a plus).
- Expert Excel knowledge (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFs; comfort with complex formulas).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn proprietary systems/CRMs/ERPs quickly.
- Strong organization, communication, and follow-through; proven team player.
