Naperville Hospital Nursing Assistant

Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Naperville, IL
  • Full Time 24 hours
  • Hours: Days 7 am 7:30 pm, rotating weekends and some holidays

What You Will Do:

  • Performs unit support duties including answering and relaying telephone calls, filing and maintaining records, retrieving and delivering supplies, specimens, instruments, test results and so forth. Provides support in light housekeeping, stocking of supplies and patients dietary needs as required.

What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Certificate from an accredited nursing assistant training course (CNA); or minimum six months previous patient care experience or equivalent; or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Attend in depth orientation regarding patient care skills tasks
