Position

Rockefeller Asset Management's Investor Services team is looking for a Fund Services Associate to support both Rockefeller Global Family Office ("RGFO") clients invested in proprietary funds, as well as external institutional and intermediary clients invested in Rockefeller Asset Management (RAM) funds and SMAs. The Fund Services Associate acts as a central point of contact for operational and administrative processes supporting private equity funds and related investment vehicles. This role ensures smooth execution of investor transactions, capital activity, and client servicing while coordinating across internal teams and external service providers.

This role will interface with RGFO Advisors, RAM Clients, external service providers (custodians, administrators, etc), portfolio managers, investment team members, trading, performance and portfolio analytics, and all infrastructure groups (e.g. Ops, Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, etc) for reactive and proactive client service and communications. This team also has primary ownership of client on-boarding for Rockefeller managed funds and SMAs, in close coordination with RAM Product Management and/or Operations contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the centralized point of contact and facilitator across all applicable RCM functions and key service providers (e.g. custodians and fund administrators) for our private equity funds and related investment vehicles.
  • Assist with administrative and operational processes related to new accounts and investor transactions, such as new account openings, subs/reds, transfers, additional subs, invoice payments, trade errors etc.
  • Help manage capital calls and distributions processes for Private Equity vehicles and SPVs including preparing and distributing investor communications related to capital activity notices, statements and fund updates.
  • Monitor for and download quarterly reports, audited financial statements and K1s from all underlying fund investments.
  • Support audit and regulatory reporting processes.
  • Provide on-going service and support to existing clients and advisors relating to all aspects of reporting, account performance reviews etc. by liaising with various legal, operational and infrastructure parts of the RCM/RAM business.
  • Help manage and resolve all client service-related requirements, requests, issues, and queries originating from financial advisors, clients and fund administrators.
  • Provide authorized parties required fund investment documentation, key communications, and other investor related information as required.
  • Synchronize with the marketing team regarding issuing, maintaining and updating marketing and reporting materials.
  • Help support the creation of detailed fund service procedures/standard operating protocol for reporting and other elements of client service, including account onboarding, account maintenance, cash flow management, guideline changes, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, required
  • 5+ years of financial industry experience; preferably in fund services or an operational capacity at a private equity firm or fund administrator
  • Familiarity and interest in global capital markets
  • Understanding of general finance/fund accounting terminology
  • Experience/familiarity with hedge funds, private equity and private partnership fund structures
