Rogerson’s programs include affordable housing for low-income older adults, moderate income housing for adults 55+, assisted living, memory care, continuing care communities, and adult day programs. SUMMARY:
Working with the Vice President of Advancement, Marketing, and Communications, the Director of Sales and Partnerships will build sales and partner engagement strategies across the organization’s Senior Living and Affordable Housing Communities and Adult Day Health (ADH) Programs.
As part of these efforts, the Director will develop strategies to connect with local health centers, case managers, rehab facilities, concierge services, hospitals, estate attorneys, wealth managers, and others. In addition, the Director will work under a weekly goal to create a robust portfolio of referral generators in the community.
The Director will also become a super user with the sales Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), Aline, who can help answer questions about navigation and reporting. In partnership with the Director of Marketing & Communications, this position will create outreach campaigns for lead generation. These strategies will include digital, social, drip, and email campaigns as well as onsite events. The Director will help to build a sales culture across locations and will provide best practice advice for all involved with the tour and lead nurturing process. Will be an adaptive strategist who can help mold individualized sales deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the sales and occupancy strategies for all current senior living and adult day health sites to create best practices for future growth.
Establish and monitor sales goals, occupancy targets, and marketing performance metrics across locations.
Become an important sales resource across the Rogerson Portfolio.
In collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Communications, analyze trends and market data to inform pricing, promotions, and strategies.
Provide regular reports on occupancy, referral activity, and conversion outcomes.
Collaborate with sites to align marketing and admissions processes to establish operational excellence.
Help to build a replicable sales program that could be administered at future community or program locations.
Partnerships
Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, senior service networks, hospitals, referral agencies, concierge services, etc.
Represent the organization at community events, networking functions, health fairs, and professional association meetings.
Oversee campaigns that promote the organization’s housing, programs and services, highlighting its non-profit mission and community impact.
Develop targeted referral development strategies for key markets, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physician offices, councils on aging, and faith-based organizations.
Admissions and Customer Experience
Ensure a compassionate, informative, and seamless admissions process for residents, participants, and their families.
Lead the creation and refinement of inquiry tracking systems, tours, follow-up protocols, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Educate and train staff in consultative, mission-based selling and customer service excellence.
Marketing and Brand Management
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent brand messaging across digital and print channels.
Contribute to the development of collateral materials, social media content, and public relations initiatives.
Support storytelling efforts that communicate the organization’s impact and highlight resident and participant experiences.
Manage community open houses, information sessions, and sponsorships to increase visibility and engagement.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and/or partnership engagement in senior living, adult day health, long-term care, or healthcare settings.
Demonstrated success in achieving occupancy and census growth across multiple sites or service lines.
Experience working in a mission-driven, non-profit environment preferred.
Familiarity with the Massachusetts healthcare and elder care network is strongly desired.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and represent the organization with professionalism and empathy.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Knowledge of CRM tools (Aline preferred), data analytics, and lead management systems.
Commitment to the values and mission of serving older adults and their families through compassionate, high-quality care.
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and in person with potential customers, residents, families, general public, and professionals.
Ability to work with the dementia population in a sensitive, supportive, and caring manner.
