Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159‑bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. Over 200 physicians provide diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 medical specialties, such as bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub also hosts Hawai'i’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center and adopts innovative medical practices like minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
Mililani and nearby residents receive the best in medical care at a convenient, close‑to‑home location. Services include diagnosis and treatment for all ages, periodic physical examinations, obstetrics/gynecology and family planning services, lab testing with on‑site X‑ray and mammography, and routine immunizations.
As a Patient Service Representative, you will help ensure that Mililani patients and their families receive warm, friendly, and considerate assistance at our hospitals and clinics. You will act as a liaison between patients and professional staff by facilitating clerical and reception responsibilities and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, including interviewing, registering, admitting, updating and creating patients’ medical records, performing accurate and timely processing of professional/technical fees generated by department providers, and managing cash handling and collection.
We are looking for someone sensitive and helpful, with excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Work Schedule Day/Evening – 10 hours

Pay Range USD 24.83 – 26.14 per hour
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. One year of clerical support in a health care setting or related experience. Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications Basic medical terminology. Experience with EPIC. ICD‑10 and CPT coding certification.
