We are seeking a
Pediatrician
to provide compassionate, evidence-based medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. This role focuses on preventive care, growth and development, acute illness management, and chronic condition support while partnering closely with families to promote lifelong health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pediatric care including well-child visits, sports physicals, and preventive screenings.
Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries; coordinate follow-up care.
Monitor growth and development; provide anticipatory guidance and parent/caregiver education.
Administer and counsel on immunizations per recommended schedules.
Manage chronic pediatric conditions (e.g., asthma, ADHD, obesity, allergies, diabetes) in collaboration with families and specialists.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) and coordinate referrals when indicated.
Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in quality improvement efforts and adhere to clinical guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, care coordinators, and other clinicians to ensure excellent patient and family experience.
Required Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited
Pediatrics residency .
Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Pediatrics .
Active medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility to obtain).
DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain), as applicable to role.
Strong communication skills and a family-centered approach to care.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient pediatrics, community pediatrics, or integrated health systems.
Comfort managing a diverse pediatric patient panel across a wide age range.
Experience with behavioral health collaboration and developmental screening workflows.
Bilingual abilities aligned to local community needs (e.g., Spanish).
Primarily outpatient clinic setting (newborn rounding, inpatient coverage, and call responsibilities vary by employer/practice model).
Typical weekday schedule; some settings offer extended hours or weekend rotations.
Team-based care environment with clinical and administrative support.
