Job Summary This role combines clinical development domain expertise with strategic technology innovation leadership to advance biotechnological initiatives. The Senior Director serves as both an operational leader and a clinical operations subject‑matter expert, championing and implementing digital solutions and tools that transform clinical operations across the ExploR&D portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Solution Development:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of digital solutions and tools tailored for clinical operations challenges, partnering with data science, IT, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions that enhance trial efficiency and decision‑making quality.
Technology Innovation & Digital Transformation:
Champion enterprise‑wide adoption of data‑driven solutions; develop training programs and onboarding roadmaps; establish metrics to measure adoption and efficiency gains.
Strategic Clinical Planning & Technology Integration:
Develop technology‑enabled clinical strategies, leveraging digital tools for feasibility assessments, country allocation planning, timeline optimization, and budget modeling; ensure solutions align with data governance and regulatory compliance.
Leadership Influence & Innovation Landscape:
Present technology roadmaps and business cases for scaling innovations; monitor competitive landscape and evaluate external AI platforms for potential implementation.
Talent Development & Mentorship:
Coach and mentor team members in clinical operations expertise and digital literacy, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Basic Qualifications / Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: 8+ years of direct clinical study management.
Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Additional Skills / Preferences
Advanced degrees (finance, accounting, legal or MBA) preferred.
Experience developing strategic content and vision for technology initiatives, especially AI or data‑driven solutions.
Proven involvement in clinical digital solutions, digital adoption efforts, and measurable business impact.
Strong collaborative and communication skills; ability to influence leadership and external partners.
