Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant – Surgery / Orthopedics to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, a Level I Trauma Center serving 2.6 million residents.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical and administrative services in inpatient and outpatient orthopedic settings.
Evaluate and treat patients under the supervision of an attending orthopedic surgeon.
Assist in surgical and nonsurgical orthopedic cases, including fracture reductions and cast applications.
Collaborate with social services and case management for pre‑ and post‑operative planning to ensure timely discharges.
Screens and triages patients for appropriate clinic assignment and tele‑visits.
Participate in departmental conferences and continuing education activities.
Perform administrative duties related to orthopedic services.
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
Licensed to practice in New York State.
Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
