Job Summary Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish the sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions, including estimating. Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports.

Identifies the problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions.
Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
Performs manual tasks according to established procedures.
Essential Functions
Performs clerical tasks that support production planning and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules.
Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors.
Tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems.
Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases.
Required Qualifications
Required education and experience:
High School Diploma/GED required and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience.
Critical technical and computer skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred education and experience:
Associate's Degree.
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Detail oriented, clerical skills, ability to understand and follow directions, data entry - keyboarding, inventory management, problem solving, production control, production planning, production scheduling, production support, resource planning, supplier management, order tracking, record keeping, advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software, ERP systems, inventory control software.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is Safety‑Sensitive.
Travel Requirements No or very little travel likely.
