Position Title: Director of Supply Chain FLSA Status: Exempt

Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Scope Team Uckele is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that drive efficiency, resilience, and scalability across procurement, logistics, inventory management, distribution, planning/scheduling, and ERP systems. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with deep expertise in multi-site/customer supply chain management, technology integration, and cross-functional collaboration. They will sit on the top tier leadership team, and have full latitude to optimize process and staffing to attain business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
Lead transformation initiatives to improve agility, cost-effectiveness, and business sustainability.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee procurement, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, planning, inventory control, ERP system (E-21), driving excellence at all levels/in all areas.
Ensure optimal supplier performance, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
Technology & Innovation:
Drive digital transformation through the ERP systems, automation, data analytics.
Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance supply chain visibility and performance.
Team Development:
Build and lead/mentor a high-performing supply chain team across 2 locations, multiple departments. Drive synergies at all levels.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation. Live the Uckele Core Values of Excellence, Integrity, Synergy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Finance, Sales, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to align supply chain operations with company objectives.
Serve as the key leader and liaison with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership roles, industry specific a plus.
Proven success in managing multi-site supply chains and leading large teams.
Expertise in ERP systems, supply chain analytics, and process optimization.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in navigating complex regulatory environments and future global logistics.
