Company Overview Alda Strategic is a real estate advisory firm specializing in place identity and user experience. We work at the intersection of place branding, placemaking, and experience design to translate insights into vision and strategy.

We help shape public realm strategies that are distinctive, functional, and grounded in each site's unique context. Our work ensures that places are not only well-designed, but also memorable, marketable, and meaningful to the communities they serve.

About the Role We're looking for a dynamic business development leader to drive growth for Alda Strategic. You'll be building meaningful relationships with developers and real estate visionaries across the country.

We're looking for someone who can identify transformative opportunities, bring fresh ideas to the table about where place identity and experience design can make an impact, and develop creative strategies for outreach and engagement. You'll cultivate new client relationships while nurturing existing ones into long-term partnerships, always with an eye toward helping clients create places that are memorable, marketable, and meaningful.

You believe in the power of place. You understand that when we bring analytical insights and creative vision together, adding art, placemaking, and meaningful connection to the built environment, we unlock the potential of places and elevate human experiences. You're excited to be part of that mission.

What You'll Do

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with real estate developers, property owners, mixed‑use projects, resorts and master‑planned communities nationwide.

Proactively identify potential locations and projects that would benefit from place identity, placemaking, and experience design services, bringing new ideas to the table.

Research upcoming opportunities, industry landscapes, trends, etc.

Develop innovative outreach strategies and creative approaches to business development in collaboration with the team.

Travel approximately 3 times per month to meet prospective and existing clients—site visits, dinners, conferences, and presentations.

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating the value of insight‑driven place strategy and public realm design in elevating their projects.

Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal development and contract close.

Maintain and grow long‑term client relationships, ensuring smooth and continued business and referrals.

Collaborate closely with our strategy and creative team to scope projects and ensure seamless handoffs.

Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Contribute ideas for evolving the company’s reach and market presence (marketing knowledge is a plus).

Who You Are

An innovative thinker and idea generator who proactively identifies opportunities for place transformation and comes to the table with outreach ideas.

A natural connector who thrives on meeting new people and building genuine, lasting relationships.

A collaborative partner who loves to brainstorm, share ideas, and work together toward creative solutions.

Intentional in your approach—you think strategically, act with purpose, and bring sharp judgment to every interaction.

A doer and change‑maker who is proactive, positive, and takes initiative without being asked.

Preferably has experience in the developer/construction/real estate ecosystem; you understand how projects move from vision to ground‑breaking.

Comfortable in high‑stakes conversations with sophisticated clients; you can hold your own with executives and handle all kinds of personalities.

Impeccably organized and detail‑oriented, you follow up, follow through, and keep your pipeline meticulously tracked.

An exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing, you’re compelling in person and polished in every email, proposal, and presentation.

Aligned with our mission—you genuinely appreciate the power of design, place identity, and public realm strategy to create places that are memorable and meaningful.

Energized by travel and client entertainment; you love getting on a plane, exploring new cities, and building relationships over dinner.

Positive, dependable, collaborative, and someone people genuinely enjoy being around.
